Customer Care

The Crochet Tavern is dedicated to providing high quality, handmade items for its customers. Each item is carefully constructed based on the specifications provided by the customer. If there are ever any questions or concerns regarding an item - especially when it comes to custom order requests - I will always reach out to the customer for clarification rather than make assumptions.

Materials Used

I primarily use worsted weight acrylic yarn, plastic safety eyes, and polyfiber stuffing (known as polyfill) for my items. The only default exception is when making pot holders, trivets, etc. which would be made with 100% cotton yarn. If there is a preference for blanket yarn, chenille or velvet yarn, wool, cotton, or other options, I am happy to oblige. However, it may affect the price if the request is for a custom order since I would possibly have to order the yarn.

Shipping Policy

All items are made-to-order, and orders are shipped once all items have been completed. If special yarn (i.e., chenille yarn, plush yarn, a specific color I do not have in stock) or other materials are requested, I will likely have to order the materials needed and will not be able to start your order until the materials arrive. I will always keep open communication regarding the timeline of the project and how progress is going so you know when you can expect your order. The Crochet Tavern offers free shipping on domestic items. International shipping costs are based on the weight of the package to be shipped.

Return & Exchange Policy

Returns are available for all basic items within 30 days. Items that arrive damaged will be replaced for free. Items that arrive in good condition but are later damaged within the first 90 days may be replaced for a discounted price.

Exceptions may apply to large orders due to time, labor, and cost of materials.

Returns on custom orders will be determined based on the items ordered. For example, returns requests for highly personalized items (such as items with names on them) may be rejected.

Pet-Friendly Home

I make my items in a pet-friendly environment. While I do my best to keep pet hair away from my yarn, there is always the possibility of a stray strand getting caught in the yarn. Please keep this in mind when ordering if the recipient has any sort of allergies to pet hair.

Privacy & Safety

The Crochet Tavern website is powered by Wix and utilizes all of of the privacy and security features Wix has to offer. I never see login information or payment methods directly as that is all handled in the back end of the site. Physical addresses are only ever utilized for shipping out items. Email addresses may be used to contact you if there is a question or issue regarding your order.
